| Reverse description | The central field features a naturalistic, finely engraved depiction of two Rakiura Tokoeka kiwi (Apteryx australis lawryi) in a habitat scene, the birds shown foraging among tussock grasses and low vegetation rendered in high relief against a polished mirror background.
