| 背面描述 | The central field presents the coat of arms of Western Australia in fine relief, featuring a heraldic shield charged with a black swan swimming on water, supported on either side by a kangaroo rampant, and surmounted by a St Edward's Crown. The supporters and shield are rendered with crisp numismatic detail against a deeply mirrored field. The legend 'WESTERN AUSTRALIA' arcs in bold serif lettering along the upper periphery of the coin. The denomination '10 DOLLARS' is inscribed in two lines along the lower arc of the rim. |

Issued as part of the RAM's ongoing State Series, this coin commemorates Western Australia at a moment when the state was still processing the aftermath of "WA Inc." — the web of failed government-backed business ventures that would trigger royal commissions and reshape Australian political culture through the early 1990s. The series itself was a deliberate push by the RAM to develop a collector market during a period when Australian silver coinage had only recently returned after decades of cupro-nickel dominance.
The third portrait of Elizabeth II, by Raphael Maklouf, had been adopted by the RAM in 1985.
