Two Tasmanian tigers (thylacines) rear upright as supporters on either side of the shield. Below the escutcheon, a scrolled ribbon bears the state motto UBERTAS ET FIDELITAS. The legend TASMANIA arcs along the upper periphery, with the denomination 10 DOLLARS inscribed along the lower field.
