| 备注 |
Belize gained independence from Britain in 1981, but these notes predate that by several years — issued under the Government of Belize name following the colony's 1973 renaming from British Honduras, while still a Crown dependency. The currency board arrangement that produced this series was a transitional mechanism, not a full central bank; the Monetary Authority of Belize wasn't established until 1976, and the Central Bank not until 1982.
Bradbury Wilkinson printed for dozens of colonial and post-colonial governments out of New Malden throughout this period. The P#36 series is moderately scarce in higher grades owing to active commercial use in a small economy.
