| Reverse description | The full heraldic achievement of Saint Lucia's coat of arms occupies the centre of the field, featuring a quartered shield bearing a Tudor rose and a fleur-de-lis, surmounted by a torch-bearing arm as crest above an elaborate mantling and torse. Two Saint Lucia parrots (Amazona versicolor) serve as supporters to either side of the shield, each standing atop a triangular golden device. A three-part scroll beneath the shield carries the national motto. The issuer's name ST. LUCIA appears in cursive script at the upper field, rendered against a finely engraved radiating sunburst background, with the date 2023 in the lower exergue. |

| Additional information |
The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank issues currency on behalf of eight member territories — Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, and Anguilla — a monetary union that has held the EC dollar fixed at 2.7 to the US dollar since 1976 without a single realignment. Collector gold in this series is struck to bullion standard but denominated far below melt value, a deliberate legal-tender fiction common to modern commemorative programs.
