| Obverse description | Against a polished black field, a finely engraved antique-style hemispheric world map rendered in a cartographic projection occupies the central design, with latitude and longitude grid lines and historical place names legible across the continents and oceans. The motto SERVA ME, SERVABO TE arcs across the upper portion of the map within the cartouche.
