| Obverse description | The obverse is designed in the form of a regulation baseball, with two curved rows of colored red stitching rendered in high relief around the periphery of the disc, faithfully replicating the characteristic figure-eight seam pattern of an official baseball. At center, within a dotted inner circle, appears the crowned Public Seal of Niue flanked by the legend PUBLIC SEAL OF NIUE and the mottoes ATUA and NIUE TUKULAGI on a scroll below.
