| Reverse description | Central design featuring a detailed high-relief depiction of the Laurin & Klement FC automobile (produced 1907–1909), shown in three-quarter view facing left with prominent spoke wheels, open coachwork, and a steering wheel visible. The arc legend LAURIN & KLEMENT FC 1907–1909 runs along the upper periphery. Below the vehicle, a faithful reproduction of the original factory nameplate is engraved, reading LAURIN & KLEMENT / AKC. SPOL / MLADÁ BOLESLAV, with flanking panels inscribed MOTOROVÁ KOLA and AUTOMOBILY, and a lower data bar showing TYP H.P. 14/18, ČÍS. 1028, and VÁHA 850 Kg. The gold fineness Au 999.9 appears in the lower field, with the Czech Mint mark (CM) at lower left and the designer's initials MD at lower right. |

| Additional information |
Laurin and Klement were Czech automotive pioneers who founded what became Škoda — not a subject with obvious Pacific island connections, which is precisely the point. Niue has operated as one of the more prolific licensing jurisdictions for commemorative bullion since the 1990s, issuing coins on behalf of collectors worldwide under arrangements that direct royalties back to the island's treasury. The pairing of Charles III's effigy with Central European motoring history is purely a collector-market construction, engineered for a hobbyist niche rather than any civic purpose.
