| Reverse description | A stylized hawksbill sea turtle is depicted in dynamic upward-swimming posture, rendered in an intricate swirling Polynesian-inspired decorative motif that covers the carapace with spiraling scroll patterns. The turtle's four flippers are outstretched, conveying graceful motion through an underwater field populated with incuse air bubbles of varying sizes scattered across the background. The legend TURTLE curves along the upper left periphery in incuse lettering, while the inscription FINE SILVER .999 5OZ appears in small raised lettering along the lower rim. The overall composition evokes traditional Pacific Island artistry fused with contemporary numismatic design. |

Niue has operated as a bullion and collector coin issuing vehicle for decades, licensing its sovereign status to mint programs it has no domestic economic stake in. This piece is part of that arrangement — the Hawksbill Turtle series continues a long-running wildlife bullion program produced almost certainly at the Perth Mint under contract, with Charles III's effigy substituted following Elizabeth II's death in September 2022.
The Hawksbill is listed as critically endangered under the IUCN Red List, which gives the series at least nominal conservation framing, though the connection between collector silver and turtle preservation is purely nominal.
