Aanvullende informatie

At 0.31 grams, this is among the smallest gold coins in current commercial production — a format pioneered largely by the Isle of Man and later adopted by several Pacific island sovereignties as a licensing and seigniorage play rather than any circulating monetary purpose. Solomon Islands has issued nominal-denomination gold minors under this model for decades, with the legal tender status providing the necessary framework for international sale while the coins themselves never approach the islands.
