Obverse description The obverse displays the Public Seal of Niue at center within a raised circular cartouche, surmounted by a royal crown. The seal features a stylized plant motif enclosed within a decorative border, flanked by two crossed implements below and a foliate wreath surround. The denomination TEN DOLLARS arcs above the seal along the upper legend, while the inscriptions PUBLIC SEAL OF NIUE, ATUA, and NIUE TUKULAGI appear within and below the seal device. The date 2024 is placed in the lower field beneath the central cartouche. The overall composition adopts an antiqued finish with a broad, plain field extending to the shaped outer contour of the flan.

Reverse description The reverse presents a richly detailed high-relief sculptural composition inspired by Lorenzo Ghiberti's celebrated Gates of Paradise, the gilded bronze doors of the Baptistery of Florence. Two large medallion-shaped panels dominate the field, each depicting a biblical scene rendered in deep relief: the left panel shows the Creation of Adam, with a robed divine figure raising a reclining male figure from the ground amid a rocky landscape with trees; the right panel shows the Creation of Eve, with a bearded figure gesturing toward a standing female figure attended by winged angels. The lower register of the field features an elaborate decorative border with scrolling acanthus foliage, a coiled serpent, fallen fruit, and turbulent waters rendered in fine sculptural detail. The entire composition is finished in antiqued silver, enhancing the three-dimensional modeling and chiaroscuro effects characteristic of Renaissance relief art.
