| Reverse description | A highly detailed antiqued depiction of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, rendered in deeply struck high relief. A grand symmetrical composition shows a multi-tiered terraced palace structure richly adorned with palm trees, tropical foliage, and lush plantings receding toward the upper field. In the foreground, a central paved avenue lined with potted plants and flanked by two pairs of monumental Assyrian lamassu guardian figures leads to a decorative fountain at the lower centre. A circular cartouche in the lower right bearing the numeral 7 and the inscription WONDERS identifies the series. The legend GARDENS OF BABYLON arcs along the upper border, and the date 2024 is inscribed in the lower exergue. |
