Reverse description Full-length standing figure of Cleopatra VII Thea Philopator is depicted to the right of center, clad in a draped classical robe with Egyptian-style jewelled headband and long braided hair, her right arm raised aloft holding an ankh symbol. To the left, the Great Sphinx of Giza is shown in the middle ground before a panoramic background of the Egyptian pyramids beneath a clouded sky. The dates 69 BC – 30 BC appear in the upper left field, and the mint issuer's logo medallion is positioned above centre-left. The legend CLEOPATRA VII THEA PHILOPATOR is inscribed on a ribbon scroll along the lower portion of the field, and the entire design is bordered by a Greek meander and dotted inner rim.
