Obverse description Bare-headed effigy of King Charles III facing left, rendered in high relief against a radially line-engraved field. The portrait, designed by Steven Rosati, depicts the King at approximately 74 years of age with naturalistic detail in the facial features and collar. The legend CHARLES III flanks the effigy on the left, and D·G·REX arcs along the right, both incuse within the radial background. The denomination 10 DOLLARS is inscribed along the lower rim. The engraver's initials SR appear in the field at the base of the portrait.

Reverse description A powerful Plains bison is depicted in full gallop across an open prairie landscape, rendered in high sculptural relief by engraver Victor Mah. The animal is shown in dynamic three-quarter view, with lowered head, massive forequarters, and hooves striking the ground amid tufts of grass, conveying vigorous movement. A panoramic meadow with distant horizon and cloud-streaked sky forms the background within a recessed inner circle. The legend CANADA 2024 arcs along the upper border, with the fineness designation 9999 appearing above the central device. The inscription FINE GOLD 1/4 OZ OR PUR curves along the lower rim, flanked by the engraver's initials VM at the lower right of the inner field.
