10 Dollars 'Caring Community, Active Citizenry'

This note belongs to the Portrait Series, Singapore's current polymer issue family, where the $10 denomination has carried the "Caring Community, Active Citizenry" theme since the series launched in 1999. The Monetary Authority of Singapore contracted Note Printing Australia for polymer production — the same Melbourne facility that supplies the Reserve Bank of Australia and a number of other central banks worldwide.

The 2015 date reflects a replenishment print run, not a design revision. Singapore's polymer notes of this denomination are known to circulate hard and long, which is precisely why polymer was chosen — the MAS has consistently cited durability and counterfeit resistance in its public rationale for the substrate switch from paper.
