| Obverse description | The obverse displays the Jamaican national coat of arms in high relief at the centre, featuring a quartered shield bearing five golden pineapples, supported on the dexter side by a female Taíno figure holding a basket of fruit and on the sinister side by a male Taíno figure bearing a spear. Above the shield, a crocodile rests atop a royal helmet and mantling. A scroll at the base bears the national motto 'OUT OF MANY, ONE PEOPLE'.
