| Obverse description | The obverse features the national coat of arms of Liberia prominently centered in the field, depicting a sailing ship on the sea with a rising sun and a dove in flight above, flanked by a palm tree, with a ribbon below bearing the legend REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA. The outer legend reads REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA at the top and THE LOVE OF LIBERTY BROUGHT US HERE encircling the shield. The date 2005 is divided on either side of the coat of arms, and the denomination 10 DOLLARS appears in the lower field.
