| Obverse description | The official seal of the Republic of the Marshall Islands occupies the central field, depicting a traditional Marshallese sailing canoe, palm trees, and a frigate bird with outstretched wings against a radiant sun, all within a decorative circular border. A crossed adze and a lei lei staff appear above the central device, flanked by stylized wave motifs. The word SEAL appears on a banner at the base of the central device. The legend REPUBLIC OF THE MARSHALL ISLANDS arcs along the upper rim, while the Marshallese motto JEPILPLIN KE EJUKAAN curves along the lower rim.
