Reverse description The reverse is rendered in orange tones and centres on a detailed intaglio aerial vignette of Masjid Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah mosque, with its gilded domes and minarets surrounded by verdant grounds. To the lower left a colour-shifting optically variable device (OVD) security element is present, while to the right a transparent polymer window carries an arched Moorish-style frame with ornamental Jawi calligraphy in teal. The denomination "10" and "B$" appear at lower left, with "TEN BRUNEI DOLLARS" in Roman lettering and the date 2024 at lower right.

Brunei's 2024 polymer series marks the first complete reissue under the AMBD's own branding since the authority formally replaced the Brunei Currency and Monetary Board in 2011. The switch to polymer substrate aligns Brunei with neighboring Singapore, whose Currency Interchangeability Agreement with Brunei — in force since 1967 — means both countries' notes circulate at par across the border. Whether Singapore's own polymer transition influenced the timing here is not documented, but the parallel is hard to ignore.

The transparent window integration on this issue is a meaningful security upgrade over the preceding cotton-paper series, which relied more heavily on traditional intaglio and watermark combinations.
