The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank has issued notes through De La Rue on a rolling basis since the ECCB's founding in 1983, replacing the earlier East Caribbean Currency Authority series. The P#52 designation covers a multi-year span — 2012 through 2015 — reflecting the ECCB's practice of issuing replacement batches rather than redesigning for each dated year.
