Obverse description Portrait vignette of Queen Victoria at left, central allegorical vignette of a seated female figure representing Commerce with a sailing ship in the background, and a standing sailor figure at right. Guilloche underprint in green with the legend "We promise to pay the Bearer on demand TEN DOLLARS" across the centre. Issued at Saint John's, dated January 3rd, 1888.
