Descrizione del dritto	The obverse presents a central vignette of the Rarotonga atoll with islanders gathered in a coastal scene, accompanied by detailed intaglio renderings of the Cook Islands Fruit-dove (Ptilinopus rarotongensis), an Azure-tailed Skink (Emoia impar), and a Rarotonga mottled pigeon amid tropical foliage. The denomination numeral and issuer name are printed in the upper corners, with guilloche underprint patterns framing the composition. A floral and fauna border runs along the margins, executed in green and brown tones characteristic of De La Rue intaglio printing.
