| 背面描述 | Printed in reddish-brown on white paper, the reverse carries two industrial vignettes flanking a central guilloche rosette bearing the denomination numeral $10: at left, a bauxite mining scene labelled BAUXITE MINING, and at right, an alumina processing plant labelled ALUMINA PLANT. The issuer name in Gothic script and the denomination in cursive script appear above and below the central rosette respectively, with $10 numerals in guilloche cornerpieces at all four corners. |

| 备注 |
The Bank of Guyana was established under the Bank of Guyana Act of 1965, with the new national currency replacing the East Caribbean dollar as part of independence-era monetary restructuring — Guyana had become a republic in 1970, but the notes continued under the same basic series for years without interruption. Thomas De La Rue handled the printing throughout the run, a typical arrangement for anglophone Caribbean and South American states transitioning away from colonial currency boards during this period.
The 26-year production span of this series is the detail worth noting. Issues across such a long window vary considerably in signature combinations, and at least six distinct signature pairs are documented for Pick 23.
