The centre carries the large numeral '10' flanked by the bilingual denominations 'TEN DOLLARS' and 'DIX DOLLARS', with the issuer legend 'BANK OF CANADA – BANQUE DU CANADA' across a dark band below, and two facsimile signatures of senior Bank of Canada officials at the lower centre above a date line reading 1954. |
