| 正面描述 | Black intaglio-printed note on white paper, centred with the royal arms of Canada supported by two allegorical figures in classical dress, flanked by pastoral vignettes — a beaver within an oval cartouche at left and a steam locomotive with railway cars at right. The bank title THE BANK OF TORONTO arches across the top, with DOMINION OF CANADA below it, and the denomination TEN DOLLARS TO BEARER ON DEMAND appears in bold letterpress across the lower centre. Serial numbers and branch letter C appear at upper left and upper right, with the date Toronto, 2nd January 1935 and two manuscript signatures of bank officers below the central vignette. |

| 背面描述 | Printed in red-brown on a uniformly toned ground, the reverse is dominated by a large central oval vignette bearing a left-facing portrait bust of a young Queen Victoria in fine intaglio engraving, encircled by an ornate guilloche frame. The arched inscription BANK OF TORONTO runs along the upper margin, while Roman numeral X appears within decorative lathe-work panels at both left and right extremities. Delicate foliate scroll-work fills the remaining field. |
