备注

The Union Bank of Canada had been operating since 1865, but by the time this note was issued it was already in its final years — the bank was absorbed by the Royal Bank of Canada in 1925, making the entire 1921 series among the last issues it would ever produce. The American Bank Note Company's Ottawa plant handled the printing, having established Canadian operations specifically to serve the country's chartered banks.

Collectors should be aware that Union Bank notes from this period were largely pulled from circulation during the Royal Bank merger and redemption process, which suppressed survival rates considerably for used examples.
