| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in dark brown tones with a central vignette of a classical Chinese pavilion or ceremonial structure set within a decorative border of guilloche patterning. The denomination 拾圓 (Ten Dollars) appears in large Chinese characters on both the left and right panels, flanking the central vignette, with the bank name 興業銀行 rendered in Chinese script across the upper register. Red serial numbers are printed in the upper portion, and the issuing region 熱河 (Jehol) is noted at the lower corners alongside the date inscription 中華民國九年 (Republic of China Year 9, i.e. 1920). |
