BELIZE, 1ST DECEMBER, 1910
FOR THE GOVERNMENT OF BRITISH HONDURAS
D 000000
Reverse description Printed in rose-red, the reverse is composed entirely of intricate guilloche lacework arranged symmetrically across the note. Two large circular rosette medallions occupy the left and right portions, enclosing the words BRITISH and HONDURAS respectively in white reserve on dark grounds, while a central floral guilloche medallion connects the composition. No vignette or figurative element is present; the design relies wholly on fine lathe-work geometry.
