正面描述	The obverse presents a central vignette of a seated allegorical female figure rendered in intaglio against a harbour and industrial skyline underprint, framed by an arched guilloche border. The bold serif inscription BANK OF HAMILTON dominates the upper centre, with DOMINION OF CANADA along the top edge and the denomination numeral 10 repeated in the upper corners and at right within an ornate lathe-work panel. The date and place of issue, HAMILTON, 1ST JUNE 1909, appear in the upper right field alongside the obligation text DUE FTY TO BEARER ON DEMAND.

背面描述	The reverse is printed in a uniform brown-purple tone and built around a central cartouche bearing the two-line inscription BANK OF HAMILTON enclosed within an intricate guilloche rosette, flanked symmetrically by two rectangular lathe-work panels each carrying the numeral 10. Corner numerals 10 appear at all four angles, with TEN at the lower right and DOMINION OF CANADA rendered in small capitals along the lower border.
