The 2020 dobra series marked a full redenomination recovery — São Tomé and Príncipe had originally redenominated in 2010, replacing the old dobra at 1,000:1, but practical low-denomination notes took years to settle into a coherent series. Thomas De La Rue's involvement here is unremarkable by regional standards; the printer has handled Central African franc-zone adjacents and Lusophone island states for decades.
P#77 carries only a watermark as its listed security feature, modest even by small-economy standards for a note issued this recently.
