| Obverse description | The obverse features the quartered coat of arms of Andorra, rendered in fine relief within an ornate baroque cartouche, set at the center of the field. The shield displays the traditional quarterings: a mitre and crozier in the first quarter, vertical bars (pallets) of Catalonia in the second, vertical bars again in the third, and two cattle in the fourth. A scrollwork banner beneath the shield bears the national motto in Latin.
