| Beschrijving keerzijde | A full-length, finely detailed effigy of Saint Barbara stands in three-quarter view at centre, crowned and draped in flowing robes. She holds a palm frond in her raised right hand and a chalice in her left, both traditional hagiographic attributes. To her left, a three-windowed Romanesque tower — the emblematic symbol of Saint Barbara — is rendered in high relief against a rocky background. The border is richly ornamented with an interlaced foliate pattern in a Romanesque decorative style. The legend SANTA BARBARA arcs across the upper field. |
