Obverse description The quartered coat of arms of Andorra occupies the central field, depicting the episcopal mitre and crozier of the Bishop of Urgell in the upper left and lower right quarters, and the four vertical bars of the Count of Foix alternating with two bulls passant in the remaining quarters. The shield is surmounted by a bishop's mitre and crozier. Encircling the arms is a ring of twelve five-pointed stars joined by a beaded chain, evoking the European Community motif. The peripheral legend reads JOAN D.M. BISBE D'URGELL I PRINCEP D'ANDORRA, with ECU and the date 1993 inscribed in the lower field.

Reverse description The central field features a tall rectangular panel depicting a full-length standing figure of Saint George rendered in low relief in the manner of a Romanesque stone carving, clad in Roman-style armour with a shield at his side. The inscription SANCTVS GEORGIVS appears at the top of the panel, and a rose is depicted in a rectangular tablet at the base. To the left of the panel, the legend ACORD ANDORRA and the denomination 10 are inscribed in the field, while to the right appear the letters C.E.E. and D. The engravers' initials GF and LT are visible in the lower field flanking the central panel.
