| Obverse description | The Tunisian national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a heraldic shield charged with a galley ship, a lion rampant, and a crossed sword and fasces, surmounted by a crescent and star emblem. The arms are rendered in high relief with intricate stippled and lined detailing. An Arabic circular legend arcs along the upper periphery, flanked by stylized arabesque ornamental motifs on either side.
