正面描述 Portrait of Amir Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah in intaglio at right, set against an intricate arabesque guilloche underprint in pastel tones. Central Arabic inscription reads the denomination and issuing authority, with an ornate floral border frame enclosing the entire design. The note carries bilingual legends and the Law No. 32 of 1968 authorisation text below the central vignette.

背面描述 A traditional Kuwaiti dhow under full sail occupies the central vignette, rendered in intaglio against a lightly tinted sea and sky background. Decorative guilloche rosettes and scroll borders frame the composition at the corners and margins. The issuing authority name and denomination appear in English lettering across the upper and lower portions of the design.

备注

Kuwait's first independent central bank series launched in 1960, but the P#10 belongs to the second issue — a post-1968 revision that coincided with Kuwait's growing assertiveness over its oil revenues and the push toward full nationalization of KOC that would culminate in 1975. Bradbury Wilkinson, printing from their New Malden facility, were the dominant choice for Gulf state currency throughout this period, handling notes for several newly independent issuers simultaneously.

The series ran an unusually long print life — over a decade — which means date variation and signature combinations matter considerably to specialists. At least four signature pairings are documented across the issue.
