Description de l’avers	The left portion of the note carries a portrait of King Hussein II in a dark suit, set against a vignette of the port of Aqaba with cranes and a vessel at dock, backed by distant hills. Arabic inscriptions identify the issuing authority at the top, with the denomination عشرة دنانير in bold Arabic script at centre. Intricate guilloche borders frame all four sides, with the numeral 10 repeated in the lower corners.

The legend CENTRAL BANK OF JORDAN runs along the top margin in English, and TEN DINARS is inscribed along the bottom.
