Obverse description The obverse features the coat of arms of Serbia centrally placed in the field, depicting a crowned double-headed eagle bearing a shield charged with the cross and four firesteels. The heraldic mantling and supporters flank the shield on either side. The bilingual legend arcs around the upper periphery reading РЕПУБЛИКА СРБИЈА in Cyrillic and REPUBLIKA SRBIJA in Latin script. At the lower portion of the field, the monogram of the National Bank of Serbia appears in both Cyrillic (НБС) and Latin (NBS) characters, separated by dots.
