Obverse description Blue intaglio print on white paper, framed by ornate architectural pilasters and guilloche borders. At left, a standing allegorical female figure representing Serbia — crowned and robed, bearing a sword — faces a right-hand vignette of winged Mercury in flight attended by putti. The central text panel carries the bank name in Cyrillic, the denomination ДЕСЕТ ДИНАРА in bold letterpress, the issue date Belgrade 13 January 1887, and two manuscript signatures below the titles Члан управе and Гувернор.
Obverse lettering Привилегована Народна Банка КРАЉЕВИНЕ СРБИЈЕ ПЛАЋА ДОНОСИОЦУ ДЕСЕТ ДИНАРА У СРЕБРУ Београд 13. Јануара 1887 Закон од 23. Септембра 1885 §. 145 кр. зак. фалсификовање банкнота казни се робијом DANIEL DUPUIS ET GEORGES DUVAL FEC. E. MOUCHON SCULP.
Reverse description Blue intaglio print with the denomination numeral 10 repeated in each corner within a guilloche border. Two symmetrically placed tall architectural frames at left and right each enclose a Serbian royal coat-of-arms — a double-headed eagle bearing a quartered shield surmounted by a crown. The central field carries the French-language bank title and denomination DIX FRANCS in bold letterpress, with a circular guilloche medallion at centre and a caduceus ornament at top centre.
