10 Dinara Kazneno popravni dom, Stara Gradiška

Kazneno-popravni dom Stara Gradiška — the correctional facility at Stara Gradiška — issued its own internal scrip for use within the prison economy. This was not unusual in Yugoslav penal institutions of the period; facilities operated semi-autonomous canteen systems where inmates earned and spent currency that could not leave the compound. The 1986 date places this firmly in the late socialist period, when Yugoslavia's broader monetary system was already under severe inflationary strain.

Prison scrip of this type rarely survived outside the issuing institution. Most was redeemed, destroyed, or simply discarded at release.
