| Obverse description | The Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia state coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a torch with a flame rising above crossed wheat sheaves bound at the base, surmounted by a five-pointed star; the date 29·XI·1943 appears on a ribbon at the base of the arms, commemorating the founding of the AVNOJ assembly. The bilingual circular legend reads СФР ЈУГОСЛАВИЈА · SFR JUGOSLAVIJA in Cyrillic and Latin scripts respectively, running along the outer rim.
