Obverse description The second version of the Serbian state coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a crowned double-headed eagle upon a shield charged with a cross and four firesteels (ocila). The arms are surmounted by a royal crown with a flat-bottomed top and flanked by two supporters draped in mantling. The bilingual circular legend around the periphery reads in Cyrillic and Latin script, with the abbreviated issuer moniker НБС-NBS appearing in the lower field separated by raised dots.
