At right, a female allegorical vignette representing Serbia, rendered after the figure from the Kosovo Heroes monument in Kruševac by sculptor Đorđe Jovanović — the woman wears a laurel wreath and was modelled on the poet and journalist Milica Stojadinović (1828–1878). The face of the monument's figure also serves as the watermark motif. Cyrillic inscriptions in letterpress identify the issuing authority, denomination, date, and anti-counterfeiting notice, with the designer's and engraver's credits printed in the lower margin. |
