| Beschrijving voorzijde | The right half of the note carries an intaglio vignette of two pigeons — a large green pigeon perched on a branch in the centre and a smaller bird in flight below — set against a green guilloche underprint. The Coat of Arms of The Gambia appears at lower right, with the issue year 2019 above it. The issuer title "Central Bank of The Gambia" and the promise-to-pay legend are printed in the upper right field, accompanied by the denomination in Arabic script, while the numeral "10" appears in large format at both the upper left and lower right corners. Two signature lines for the Governor and First Deputy Governor appear at the bottom centre, flanked by a repeated micro-text security band. |

| Opmerkingen |
Thomas De La Rue has printed Gambian notes for decades, but this series marks a significant reduction in the security feature set — watermark and thread only, with none of the more sophisticated optically variable elements found on higher-denomination issues of the same period. For a note denominated low enough to see genuine street circulation, that's a practical rather than careless decision.
The Gambia's 2019–2023 dating span covers the early years of the Barrow administration, which inherited an economy badly distorted by Yahya Jammeh's 22-year rule, including a central bank that had been systematically looted in his final weeks in power.
