Brazil's wartime finances pushed the Tesouro Nacional toward ABNC for this 1943 series, a relationship that had been running intermittently since the early Republic years. The "autographed" designation here refers to the manually signed examples from the first print run — a practice that was already anachronistic by the 1940s and was phased out in subsequent printings of the same design.
P#135 is frequently encountered with ink migration from the signatures, which can be mistaken for humidity damage but is a known characteristic of this print run specifically.
