| 背面描述 | The national arms of Nicaragua — a triangle enclosing a volcanic landscape beneath a rainbow, encircled by the inscription REPÚBLICA DE NICARAGUA / AMERICA CENTRAL — are centred on a green and multicolour guilloche underprint, with the numeral of value at left and in each corner and the currency denomination in a panel at foot. |

| 备注 |
The Serie B designation marks a transitional moment for Nicaraguan currency in the late 1990s, when the Banco Central was quietly modernizing its note series following years of hyperinflationary chaos — Nicaragua had suffered one of the worst inflations in Latin American history during the 1980s Contra war period, eventually requiring a currency redenomination at 5,000,000-to-1 in 1991. By 1999, the córdoba had stabilized, and Oberthur Fiduciaire's production for this series reflects that new confidence in long-term paper stock.
Watermark-only security is modest by late-1990s standards, even for a regional issuer.
