Popis líce	Brown on multicolour underprint. An oval intaglio vignette at right bears a bust portrait of Liberty facing left, draped and veiled. The large numeral '10' is set within an elaborate guilloche panel at centre, above the denomination legend 'VALE POR DIEZ CÓRDOBAS'. The series date 'SERIE DE 1951' appears vertically on both sides, with two red serial numbers printed across the upper field and three signature lines at the bottom.

Popis rubu	Printed in carmine. The Nicaraguan Coat of Arms occupies a central circular vignette, showing a triangle enclosing five volcanoes above a sea, surmounted by a Phrygian cap radiating light, all within the legend 'REPÚBLICA DE NICARAGUA – AMÉRICA CENTRAL'. Elaborate symmetrical guilloche scrollwork flanks the central vignette on both sides, each enclosing the numeral '10', with the denomination 'DIEZ CÓRDOBAS' in a solid panel at the foot of the design.
