The Nicaraguan Coat of Arms occupies a central circular vignette, showing a triangle enclosing five volcanoes above a sea, surmounted by a Phrygian cap radiating light, all within the legend 'REPÚBLICA DE NICARAGUA – AMÉRICA CENTRAL'. Elaborate symmetrical guilloche scrollwork flanks the central vignette on both sides, each enclosing the numeral '10', with the denomination 'DIEZ CÓRDOBAS' in a solid panel at the foot of the design. |
