| 表面の説明 | A large five-pointed star dominates the central field, rendered in relief with bold incuse line detailing across its facets. The circumferential legend ARQUIPELAGO JUAN FERNANDEZ arcs around the upper portion of the coin from left to right. The date 2014 appears in the lower field beneath the star, with the disclaimer legend MONEDA SIN CURSO LEGAL inscribed along the lower rim, affirming the piece has no legal tender status. |

Alejandro Selkirk is the smaller and far less visited of Chile's two inhabited Juan Fernández islands, named directly for the Scottish castaway Alexander Selkirk, who was marooned on the larger neighboring island — Más a Tierra, now renamed Robinson Crusoe — from 1704 to 1709. His survival there became the principal source material for Defoe's novel. Chile's 2014 bimetallic territorial series used the condor denomination, a unit that had been officially dormant since the mid-twentieth century, specifically reactivated for these collector-oriented circulation pieces honoring Chilean special territories.
