| 备注 |
By 1977, the Banco Central de Reserva had been issuing through ABNC for decades, and this note belongs to a long-running series that remained structurally unchanged across multiple signature and date varieties. The relative consistency of the design through the 1970s means date and signature combinations matter considerably to specialists — minor positional variants in the signature panel are known and catalogued separately by some collectors.
El Salvador retained the colón until dollarization in 2001, when the Monetary Integration Law fixed the exchange rate at 8.75 colones to the dollar. Notes of this series were withdrawn rapidly; circulated survivors with legible serial numbers are more common than uncirculated stock.
