Obverse description The upper centre carries the bold letterpress title БАНКОВЫЙ БИЛЕТ (Bank Note) surmounted by the RSFSR state emblem, with the denomination ДЕСЯТЬ ЧЕРВОНЦЕВ rendered in large decorative Cyrillic script below and the numeral 10 set within a dark ornamental cartouche at right. To the left, a large circular guilloche vignette encloses the Cyrillic monogram РСФСР within an ornate rosette underprint, flanked by vertical columns reading Государственный Банк (State Bank). The lower portion bears the year 1922, printed management signatures of the State Bank, and a bilingual text block confirming the gold-backing standard and redemption terms.
